Composite co-extrusion decks, sometimes called capped deck boards are the perfect alternative to wood decking. Composite co-extrusion decks are made from Wood Plastic Composite (WPC). Traditional wood decks can rot and wear from normal weathering. Co-extrusion is a new BPC manufacturing technology:
- New material capped outside, the shell is made of a modified plastic which is anti-scratches and easy to clean as well as keeps the inside
- Thickness of the shell: 0.5±0.1mm min.
- BPC material from water absorption.
- The core is still made of wood plastic composites.
- Can add agents according to customer requirements.
What is Coextrusion?
Co-extrusion is a processing procedure that adding a high-tech plastic material simultaneously on the surface of the panel while it is forming under high temperature.This material endows the fencing panels with a better protection, thoroughly improving all performance the traditional WPC panels in anti-UV, anti slip, wear resistance, etc. Also, a performance-superior surface enable the application of 3D texture, giving it more authentic wood appearance and tactile impression.

Stain resistance and water resistance
Co-extrusion decking has a full 360-degree coating, which can provide all-around protection for the core layer. Moreover, the water absorption rate of the coating is extremely low, which effectively prevents water from entering the core layer so that the plate is not prone to color or mold.
